We believe "all scripture is given by inspiration of God", consisting of sixty-six books of the Old Testament & New Testament (rejecting the Apocrypha). (II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:21; 3:2)
We believe that the doctrine of inspiration is inseparable from the doctrine of preservation of scripture, God’s “words”. (Psalm 12:6-7, Proverbs 22:21, Matthew 4:4, I Thessalonians 2:13, II Timothy 3:16, John 17:8, Revelation 22:18-19, John 6:63) Knowing that no living individual holds nor has ever seen the original autographs, the Bible therefore is available to mankind today.
We believe that God has preserved His holy words (“scripture”) for the saints today in the King James Bible (Authorized Version). We believe every word therein is inerrant and infallible and needs NO correction.
We believe the King James Bible is superior to all other versions and translations, which are corruptions of the true words of God. (II Corinthians 2:17)
We believe that the King James Version should be the final authority in all matters of faith and practice, and is above any opinions of mankind, traditions, or any other source. (Mark 7:9-13, I Thessalonians 2:13, II Timothy 3:16-17)
We believe that music speaks either to the Spirit, to the Soul, or to the Body (flesh). Music is not neutral, it has the capability of communicating imbalance and sensuality, it can confuse the spiritual effectiveness of the message. Music is a tool, that should be used to minister to the soul and spirit of the child of God, bringing Glory to our Lord Jesus Christ and draws us to worship Christ (I Corinthians 2:11, Matthew 16:26, 26:38, Romans 8:13, Colossians 3:16, Ephesians 5:18-19, Hebrews 2:12, Revelation 4:11).
We believe in the active and vigorous pursuit of lost sinners by street preaching, tract distribution, door-to-door witnessing and any other reasonable and appropriate methods of sowing the seed of the word of God.
And it is the responsibility of every believer to proclaim the saving gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost world by all available means, including being a personal witness as well as financially supporting the missionary efforts of the church (Matt 28:19, Acts 1:8 ,2 Cor 5 :18-20 Acts1:8 ,Acts8:1-4
We believe the scriptures should be rightly divided in order to define mankind’s responsibilities in successive ages towards God. We believe proper dispensationalism result from a historical-grammatical approach, literal interpretation, and progressive revelation. We reject any “anti-dispensational” or “revised dispensational” view that teaches bondage to the Mosaic law and Sabbath, salvation has been the same in all ages, the church replaces Israel, and the church will endure through the Tribulation. We reject the mid Acts movement that teach the church started in the middle of Acts or afterwards. We reject any other “hyper-dispensational” view that abolishes Christian application in the Old Testament, the General Epistles, Romans 10, the bride of Christ, water baptism and the Lord’s Supper. (2 Timothy 2:15; 3:16-17; 1 Peter 1:10-12; 2 Peter 3:16, 18).
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, and is our substitution for sin, and that salvation can ONLY be obtained through Jesus Christ (John 3:16, Hebrews 5:9, 9:22, 10:10-12). We believe that salvation is by grace ALONE, and completely apart from any works, deeds, sacraments, church membership, baptism, etc. (Ephesians 2:8-9). Upon salvation of the soul, the child of God is assured of eternal life that cannot be lost. (Romans 8:16-17, 39-39, Romans 6:23).
We believe that the blessings of salvation are made free to all and that nothing prevents the salvation of the greatest sinner on earth but his own voluntary rejection of the Gospel. (John 3:19; John 5:40; Romans 16:25, 26).
We believe that Jesus Christ is God (John 1:1-3), He was born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14), He was God manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16), He lived a sinless life (Hebrews 4:15), He laid down His life on the cross for our sins (Romans 5:8), He arose bodily the third day (1 Corinthians 15:4), He ascended back to Heaven (Acts 1:9),He sits glorified at the right hand of the Father (Hebrews 1:13), He is the Head of the Church (Colossians 1:18),and He is coming again (Titus 2:13), and He is the only way to Heaven (John 14:6).
We believe in following the Biblical pattern of baptism. Water baptism is only for those who have first believed in Jesus (Acts 8:37). It is a full immersion into water symbolizing and identifying with the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ (Matthew 3:16). Baptism does not make one a member of the local church.
We believe in one triune God, eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Ghost - each co-eternal in being co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections (Deut. 6:4;Matt. 28:19, II Cor. 13:14; Jn. 14:10-26, I John 5:7).
We believe in two scriptural uses of the word "church" (the spiritual body of Christ, consisting of all believers, and each local assembly of believers). We believe that all people who have been born again are a part of "the church, which is his body," and therefore should join an autonomous local church. Furthermore, we believe the Biblical church to be an Independent Bible believing (KJV) Baptist Church separate from religio-political bosses. We believe in two church ordinances: Water baptism and the Lord's Supper, and two offices: Pastor and Deacon. (I Cor. 1:16, 11:23-27, 12:13; Eph. 1:22-23; I Tim. 3:1-13)
We believe the born again child of God is eternally secure in Christ and is indwelt, regenerated, comforted, and sealed by the Holy Ghost until the day of redemption. Ephesians 1:12-13; 4:30 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; 12:13; John 14:16-17; 26; Titus 3:5; Philippians 1:6; Romans 8:38-39
We believe in the blessed hope, the return of Jesus Christ for His church prior to the great tribulation, after which Christ will return in power and glory with his saints to establish a literal Messianic kingdom upon planet earth lasting 1000 years. We believe that the nation of Israel will be restored at this time as the head of nations (Titus 2:13, Rev 19:11-16, 20:4, Rom 11:25-26, Deut 28:13).
We believe every saved person ought to conduct their lives in a manner so as not to bring reproach upon their Savior, therefore believers ought to be separate from the outward and inner ways of the world, being holy in mind and body .This separation should also be unto the gospel .(Romans1:1 2 Cor 6:14-18, 1 Thess 5:23).
We believe that the believer will stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ following the rapture of the church, not to be judged for salvation, but for reward or loss. We believe that all those rejecting Jesus Christ will be judged at the Great White Throne Judgment following the Millennial reign of Christ and will be consigned finally and eternally to a literal lake of fire (2 Cor 5:10, Rev 20:11-15).
We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred spiritual and physical death. We believe that without exception all men are sinners and have need of the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ (Genesis 1:26; Genesis 2:7; Romans 5:12-18; I Corinthians). We believe man’s direct and sole purpose in creation was and is to bring Glory to God, thus it is for His pleasure (Revelation 4:11).
We believe that human life begins at conception and that the unborn child is a living human being. Abortion constitutes the unjustified, inexcusable taking of unborn human life. Abortion is murder. (Job 3:16; Psalm 51:5; 139:14-16; Isaiah 44:24; 49:1,5; Jeremiah 1:5; 20:15-18; Luke 1:44.)
We believe that the only legitimate marriage is the joining of one man and one woman, and thus we reject upon the basis of scripture the attempt to redefine marriage as anything other than the union of one man and one woman. (Genesis 2:24; Romans 7:1-3; I Corinthians 7:10; Eph. 5:22-23)
We believe the souls of believers immediately ascend to heaven after death and live for eternity. We believe the souls of unbelievers immediately descend to Hell after death and burn for eternity (2 Corinthians 5:8; Luke 16:22-23; Matthew 25:41, 46).
We believe in the gifts of the Spirit with the exception of those gifts which are specifically called “signs speaking of tongues, visions, prophecies, healings, and random baptisms of the Holy Ghost). People can only partake in the signs when they are surrounded by (1) the apostles since they must confirm the word while the complete Bible was unavailable, and (2) the Jews since signs were originally purposed for them. We believe signs have gradually ceased, because (1) the gradual switch from Jews to Gentiles now annuls its purpose, (2) the apostles recognized this cessation, and (3) the Bible is available today. Thus, we walk by faith in His words, not by signs to see. No scriptural evidence is found anywhere to support signs for today with the sole exception of Satan’s ministers. If a person claims to perform signs, we have the right to put that individual through any test (Mark 16:14, 17-18; 2 Timothy 4:20; 1 Corinthians 1:22; Acts 13:45-46; Hebrews 2:3-4; 2 Corinthians 5:7; Romans 10:17; Mark 13:22; Revelation 2:2).
